Satyendar Jain had said that the government had written a letter to the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) asking them to hand over hospitals to the Delhi government as MCD “cannot properly manage and manage its hospitals. “.

The letter said that serious concerns had been expressed regarding the non-payment of wages / salaries / other fees to medical, paramedical and other personnel working at Hindu Rao Hospital, Kasturba Hospital and other MCD hospitals.
Many doctors sat outside the hospital demanding their outstanding fees for several months and raised slogans against the Delhi government.
Speaking about the death rate of the national capital in the past 10 days, Satyendar Jain said that two-thirds of the Covid-19 beds were now empty.
“In the last 10 days, the death toll has been 0.94 percent, while the overall death rate is 1.77 percent. A third of covid beds are occupied and two-thirds are empty.” said the minister.
