NEW DELHI: The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on Wednesday the test successfully fired the Laser guided Anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) of MBT Arjun at KK Ranges, Armored Corps Center and School (ACC & S) Ahmednagar.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh took to Twitter to congratulate DRDO on its latest feat. “India is proud of the DRDO team, which is working assiduously to reduce dependence on imports in the near future,” said the Union Minister.

On Tuesday, the DRDO also successfully conducted the ABHYAS flight test, a high speed consumable air target (HEAT). The flight test was conducted from the Interim Test Range, Balasore in Odisha. This vehicle can be used as a target for the evaluation of various missile systems.
