NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki announced on Tuesday that it will extend its subscription services to Hyderabad and Pune. Maruti Suzuki’s subscription program is now almost 3 months old.
The Maruti Suzuki Subscribe scheme started in Delhi NCR and Bangalore initially and will now operate in four cities in total. The automaker’s subscription program allows customers to use a new car by paying an all-inclusive monthly fee that also covers maintenance and insurance for the entire duration.

Currently, the fleet of cars that Maruti Suzuki offers by subscription includes Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza, Ertiga, Baleno, Ciaz and XL6. Cars can be subscribed for a 24, 36 or 48 month tenure. The lowest subscription scheme starts at Rs 15,354 for Swift LXi in Pune and Rs 15,479 in Hyderabad.
The automaker has partnered with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services to operate the underwriting scheme. Vehicles will be registered in the customer’s name and the plan includes road tax, registration fees and insurance. Plus, full maintenance and 24/7 roadside assistance are part of the package.

“Maruti Suzuki Subscribe is focused on bringing comfort to individual customers. It comes with a set of convenient features: flexible tenure, zero down payment, registration and insurance, and it also covers full maintenance. We are overwhelmed with customer response in the first weeks of the pilot launch and received over 5,000 inquiries. Progressively, our goal is to offer Maruti Suzuki Subscribe in 40-60 cities in the next 2-3 years, ”said Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director of MSIL.
