The initial trend suggests that the need for personal mobility in times of Covid has driven sales of entry-level cars. Healthy selling in the rural segment along with pent-up demand and improvements in supply chain management are some of the trends that will lead to a sustained increase in sales in the future, a senior Maruti Suzuki official told the IANS news agency.
In July 2020, Maruti Suzuki India Limited recorded total sales of 108,064 units, a growth of 88.2% compared to June 2020 and a drop of 1.1% compared to July 2019.
