Maruti Suzuki 800 is one of the most recognized and loved vehicles in India. It has been there for decades before Maruti Suzuki took it out of production. Still, there are numerous examples of the Maruti Suzuki 800 that are still alive on the roads in various forms. While there are many owners who have kept their Maruti Suzuki 800 in pristine condition, just like a new vehicle, there are many others that have been modified to look extreme. Here are four modifications made by MAGNETO 11 and one by JS Designs on the Maruti Suzuki 800.
Sports car inspired by the Audi R8
This humble Maruti Suzuki 800 has been transformed into an Audi R8, well a mini, knockoff R8 to be precise. The modification includes a custom layered bumper at the front and there are up to 6 projector lamps distributed on either side of the Audi logo. The rear takes on a minimalist look with round headlights and a separate housing for the turn signals. Modification work has even added fake air vents to replicate the look of the real Audi R8. There are two seats and an open roof too, but these are the only things that look like an Audi R8 Spyder!
Maruti 800 SUV
SUVs are rapidly gaining popularity in India and around the world and there is no reason why a Maruti Suzuki 800 shouldn’t be like an off-roader, right? Well here’s an 800 that’s been modified to look like an SUV. It has a capacity of 6 seats with two side benches in the rear. The benches are placed on an open platform. The video says that the vehicle body was repaired and additional strength was added by welding and adding additional metal parts. This was done to ensure that the vehicle becomes stronger and suitable for off-road terrain. This modification also has four headlights and the cap is personalized.

Hummer maruti
Hummer is a true SUV gangster and we all know his popularity around the world. Here’s a Maruti Suzuki 800 that has been transformed to look like a Hummer except for the size-up treatment. The Magneto team has tried to recreate the micro Hummer look by adding a Hummer-style grille with two projection lamps. Even the muscular bumper looks quite daring and is made of steel. On the sides, you will notice a lot of flares on the body that have been added to give the vehicle a spacious appearance. It sure looks like a big toy instead of a real life Hummer.
Convertible
Convertibles are not practical with the Indian weather and dusty conditions. But they look quite interesting and sporty. Here’s a Maruti Suzuki 800 converted to a convertible in Delhi. This car has a fiberglass body and it takes about Rs 3.5 lakh to get a vehicle like this. The different parts of this vehicle come from different vehicles, like the taillights are from Spark, while the dash is probably from a Nissan Terrano.
Maruti 800 Coupe
The Maruti Suzuki Zen can be called as a hot hatchback of its time, but what we see here is an 800 that tries to be a coupe. You get a purple colored body and it looks like the body has been completely manufactured. A new sloped roof is also added to the car to add the coupe look. However, the rear of this car looks good.
