Denying the accusations by West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is bringing a party from Hyderabad to split minority votes, All India Chairman Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul -Muslimeen (AIMIM), Asaduddin Owaisi, said on Wednesday that the former should worry about his own home state, as many people are shifting their allegiance to BJP.
“To date, no one can buy Asaduddin Owaisi with money. Your claim is unfounded and uneasy. You should worry about your own home, many of yours go to the BJP. She has insulted the voters of Bihar and the people who voted for us, ”Owaisi said.
Banerjee had said yesterday: “To divide the votes the minorities have taken over a party in Hyderabad, the BJP gives them money and they are dividing the votes. The choice of Bihar has shown it. ”
Owaisi further said, previously Banerjee has praised the BJP, she has also been part of the National Democratic Alliance, so she should avoid such absurd statements.
Meanwhile, Owaisi met with former Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar in Lucknow today.
“Today was our first meeting, we will fight together in the elections at the front, now let’s see who else joins us,” Owaisi said.
