SEHORE: BJP MP Pragya Thakur on Sunday he attacked Bengal’s chief minister, Mamata Banerjee, for the attack on the BJP president JP Naddaconvoy in West Bengal, and claimed that the leader of the Trinamool Congress has gone mad.

In other controversial comments, the Bhopal Lok Sabha member cited dharmashastras (religious texts), claiming that a ‘shudra’ (the fourth and lowest of the traditional varnas according to these scriptures) feels bad for lack of understanding.
“A kshatriya does not feel bad if we call it kshatriya. A brahmin does not feel bad if we call it brahmin. A vaishya does not feel bad if we call it vaishya. But a shudra feels bad if we call it shudra.” , which is the reason? Because they don’t understand, “Thakur said.
The BJP deputy is no stranger to controversies.
