The airport will organize the test centers and charge the passengers directly for the test. “Contact information and address will be collected from all passengers who undergo tests at the airport by the airport operator to facilitate contact, in case the test report is positive. Passengers whose report is positive will be contacted and treated according to the existing protocol. The commissioners will be the nodal officers of the same and will ensure that the above instructions are strictly followed. ”
For train passengers, the SOP reads: “All passengers traveling to Maharashtra on trains originating from or stopping or stopping at NCR stations in Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa states will need to carry a Negative RT-PCR test report before deciding to enter Maharashtra. Collection of samples by RT-PCR should have been done within 96 hours prior to scheduled arrival in Maharashtra. ”
“Passengers who do not have a negative RT-PCR test will be tested for symptoms and body temperature at the train stations going down. Passengers without symptoms would be allowed to go home. ”
Train passengers with symptoms should be separated and tested for antigen.
