Maharashtra reports 17,794 new cases, records 416 new deaths


On Friday, Maharashtra I saw a gradual dip in cool COVID-19 cases. According to the state health department, Maharashtra reported 17,794 new cases of COVID-19 today. With this, the total count has risen to 13,00,757.

The state also saw 416 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 34,761 deaths. In the last 24 hours, 19,592 patients have been recovered, which brings the number of discharges to date to 9.92,806. The number of active cases currently stands at 2.72,775.

Mumbai: 21 new COVID-19 cases in Dadar; death toll in Dharavi reaches 281


Overall, the G / North district, which includes Dharavi, Mahim and Dadar, registered 40 new cases today, and with this, the total cases in the district have reached 9,608. So far, this BMC ward has 1,257 active cases and 7,846 recoveries, according to information provided by a senior official at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Read more here
