Maharashtra reports 115 new deaths


On Tuesday, Maharashtra registered 5,363 new COVID-19 cases. With this, the total count is now 16,54,028. In the past 24 hours, the death toll rose to 43,463 after reporting 115 new deaths.

Maharashtra also saw 7,836 recoveries. With this, the number of recoveries to date now stands at 14,78,496. The state is currently home to 1,31,544 active cases. The patient recovery rate in the state is 89.39 percent.

Mumbai: 11 new COVID-19 cases in Dharavi; active cases in 143
