Maharashtra reports 10,244 new cases


During last week, Maharashtra is experiencing a gradual decrease in COVID-19 reported cases. On Monday, the state reported 10,244 new cases, bringing the total count to 14,53,653. The state also reported 263 deaths and 12,982 discharges today.

With this, the total number of recoveries amounted to 11,62,585. The death toll stands at 38,347. The state currently harbors 2,52,277 active cases.

Dharavi Reports 19 New COVID-19 Cases Monday; active cases in Dadar amount to 572


Asia’s largest slum colony and a former hotspot for the city, Dharavi, reported 19 new cases of coronavirus on Monday. The number of daily cases in the area had dropped to just two in the past month. However, with new cases emerging every day, Dharavi has re-recorded a double digit case count every day. Read more here

COVID-19 Tracker: Ulhasnagar, Ambernath Reported Fewer Than 40 Cases Monday; Badlapur crosses 6,000 recoveries


Ulhasnagar reported 27 new cases of coronavirus on Monday. With this, the total number of positive cases in the region has shot up to 9,426. In addition, with 47 fresh recoveries on Monday, up to 8,502 patients have been completely cured and discharged, the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation reported. Read more here

COVAXIN to use ViroVax adjuvant for effective and long-lasting immunity


Vaccine innovator Bharat Biotech has announced that its new coronavirus vaccine COVAXIN, approved for human trials, will use the adjuvant Alhydroxiquim-II to stimulate the immune response and for long-lasting immunity.
