Mumbai:
Maharashtra Minister Dhananjay Munde took aim at actor Kangana Ranaut on Friday after she compared Mumbai to PoK, saying that a person behaves in this way when he is “cultivated as ungrateful” or due to a “mental imbalance”.
Ms. Ranaut had accused Shiv Sena’s deputy Sanjay Raut on Thursday of openly threatening her and asking her not to return to Mumbai.
“Why does Mumbai feel like Pakistani-occupied Kashmir?” Kangana Ranaut tweeted, tagging a Sept. 1 news report in which Sanjay Raut allegedly said the actor shouldn’t return to Mumbai if he was afraid of the city police.
Munde tweeted: “Some people have a ‘gratitude problem’ … Mumbai feeds thousands of people, including yourself, you earned name, fame and everything here … # LoveforMumbai.”
Dhananjay Munde, the state minister of social justice, further tweeted with a ‘GetWellSoonKangana’: “A person can behave so ungratefully in only two conditions, or is cultured as ungrateful or has lost mental balance.”
