Maharashtra government allows movie theaters and theaters to reopen at 50% capacity from 5 November

Standard operating procedures for them will be issued by the Department of Cultural Affairs and local authorities.



Movie theaters have been closed in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and they have been allowed to reopen after an interval of eight months.

In addition, the government has also allowed the pools used for the training of athletes and yoga institutes at the state, national and international level to reopen as of November 5 with current social distancing regulations.

All indoor sports such as badminton, tennis, squash, etc. They will be allowed with measures of physical and sanitary distancing.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra recorded an increase of 4,909 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Up to 6,973 people have been cured and discharged, while 120 succumbed to the virus. So far, the state has seen recoveries of 15.31 lakh.
