The Railways will increase the frequency of local trains on the MMR. Local trains in the Pune region will restart with the protocols and procedures adopted in the MMR.
Dabbawallahs (tiffin carriers) on MMR will be able to travel on local trains after obtaining QR code passes from the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s office. Free movement of oxygen-carrying vehicles in and out of the state will be allowed without time restrictions.
Schools, universities and other educational and training institutions will remain closed.
