“If someone thinks that the president has hurt someone, I would like to say that it may be involuntary. For me, each member is equal and protecting each member is my duty,” Birla said.
“If I say something to someone, the intention is not to hurt anyone, but to run this Chamber smoothly. If anyone has been hurt in that process, I personally apologize,” he added.
Defense Minister and House Deputy Head Rajnath Singh praised the President for running the House smoothly.
“The way he handled the stalemate today is commendable,” Singh said.
