Sushant Singh Rajput case live updates: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Mumbai Area arrested at least six people in connection with ongoing investigations into drugs angle in Bollywood actor’s death case Sushant Singh Rajput, an official here said Sunday. In the ongoing raids from Mumbai to Goa, OCN teams led by Area Director Sameer Wankhede have arrested one Karamjeet Singh Anand (23).
Banned substances such as Ganja and Charas have been recovered from him. A Ganja supplier, Dywan Anthony Fernandes, along with two others, were arrested in Dadar (West), Mumbai. The NCB has recovered half a kilo of Ganja from them. Also, an Ankush Arenja (29) was captured from Powai in city-wide raids in recent days.

The OCN has reportedly stepped up its investigation into the drug issue in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Some places of people supplying drugs to film industry professionals have been raided. The drug trail is being closely followed.

CNN News18 has learned that so far no major arrests have been made regarding the drug syndicate operating in Mumbai, Goa and nearby areas, which is responsible for the entry of illegal substances and their distribution among professionals in the film industry.
The NCB is slowly moving up the chain of the Bollywood drug syndicate based on the testimonies of those arrested in the Sushant Singh Rajput case so far. Another key street vendor was arrested on Saturday and has confessed to being in contact with and supplying drugs to Showik Chakraborty, one of those arrested in the Sushant case.
