Following Raina’s departure, two CSK team cricketers, Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad, along with other staff members tested positive for COVID-19 as soon as the team landed in the United Arab Emirates.
Problems off the field may have put slight pressure on Dhoni and the rest, a team that relies on the experience of international players.

Mumbai, on the other hand, will miss Lasith Malinga’s services this season. She has been a consistent performer for the team and has played the role of a match winner for many years. While CSK’s bowling alley is its biggest advantage, Mumbai’s strong point is its hitting. In the spin department, Chennai looks to have the upper hand, while Mumbai pacemakers, led by sensational Jasprit Bumrah, hope to cause damage.
Not much is known about the field conditions in Abu Dhabi, but if it’s on the slower side, the Chennai spinners are likely to play a crucial role.
