Latest updates from Parliament: Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said the battle against the coronavirus is far from over and, although the country has been unlocked, community support is crucial to breaking the chain.

The Monsoon Session is seeing a plethora of protocols implemented in light of the coronavirus outbreak. Members are required to wear masks, while staff at the Parliament complex carry out intensive sanitation at regular intervals.

Before the start of the Monsoon Session on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on MPs to send a unanimous message that the entire country supports its armed forces. “I hope that Parliament, and all its members, send a message with unanimous voice, spirit and resolution that the country supports them,” he said.
