Tewatia played another blind for RR

Give this #Tewatia a medal. It has played a blind role on a difficult surface.

A turnaround for the ages!
What a finale !! Tewatia and Parag shoot RR to a thrilling victory from behind. Parag connected the winning runs by hitting Khaleel with a massive six over deep spot. However, it was Tewatia who again turned out to be the man of the moment. Today, he not only crossed the line, but even played the backhand against Rashid Khan.
Many celebrations of the couple! The RR camp is happy.
Cricket is indeed a game of glorious uncertainties.
Man of the moment – Tewatia
Tewatia is the man of the moment. He takes Natarajan out for a six and also hits the same bowler on the boundary fences across the middle of the field.
Only eight needed six. One of the most important changes in the making.
Chew nails
Tewatia is on the move again. And that also gave Rashid Khan a setback by a couple of limits !! What a thriller! Warner would be thinking about the spontaneous possibility, which gave Parag a break.
22 in two overs.
Tewatia and Parag are turning things around dramatically for #RajasthanRoyals much against predictions. I’m getting ready to eat my words …

RR inch closer
Warner would be biting some nails now. Parag hit a couple of limits, including the scoop. While Tewatia toned Sandeep into the same for the max. Let the game begin!
36 in 3 overs.
Four overs. 54 needed!
Four overs to go. RR needs to up the ante as the execution rate has risen to over 13. However, Parag almost kept SRH in the game by toning Khaleel for a six over midwicket. In fact, they dropped it in the same place.
The track is certainly exciting.
Rashid’s Master Box
Rashid Khan then fired point man Sanju Samson to leave RR in tatters. The broken leg that grabbed the surface and caught the edge of Samson. Brilliant bowling. RR in more trouble.
Another falls …
Samson pulled and cut the bounding boards to raise the pace of the race. Just when Uthappa and Samson seemed to be building a stand, the first one was awarded by Rashid. Rashid and Uthappa’s trademark skidder paid the price for playing around its front pad. Uthappa accepted the review, but to no avail.
Khaleel on fire
Oh, now it’s over. Smith, the skipper, is back at the cabin. Buttler wanted an extra run, but there was none. Nice shot from Shankar and Natarajan did the rest.
Khaleel then threw the cutter to induce the edge and for Bairstow to rip the catch. Three of RR’s great guns are back in the pavilion. RR in serious trouble.
Khaleel on fire!
Hit blog
RR made the bold move of sending Stokes to lead off the batting. However, it didn’t exactly work as it made a Khaleel cut on the stumps. Huge window for SRH. Warner is very happy. Like Khaleel.
Williamson and the flashy stroke play
Kane Williamson targeted Archer at 19 to raise SRH to 158/4. He broke a staggering six with one hand from Archer’s slowest and then made a bold pull on a 93 mph pitch to propel him past the 160-race mark.
The SRH camp would be quite pleased with the score as the track is on the slower side.
The advantage of having a shooting shot. Not just that hoick on the other end of the line. Of course, very few attempt the pull against Jofra. Kane is different.

Unadkat and variations
Manish Pandey reached fifty well measured. It broke sumptuous lofts and also the occasional movie here and there. Only at the last minute, Unadkat sent Pandey back to the cabin with a slower gorilla. The two-beat deck is helping Unadkat.
Jofra Archer landed David Warner four times in England. Also cleaned it today.

Warner falls; Manish on a roll
Jofra Archer castled Warner with another of his express deliveries. Warner cleared space, but Archer was up to the task as he followed and aimed for the stumps.
Big window as Warner was established. Meanwhile, Pandey is on a roll. You have hit a pair of six and a limit. Tewatia could have picked up his wicket, but Tyagi misjudged an opportunity at midwicket, and slipped all the way to the boundary fences.
Warner in a commanding touch
David Warner continues to impress SRH. He made a thud over the extra cover and then hit Tyagi in the same region to get the maximum. Imperious batting. He has also pinched singles and two. SRH has gotten back on track after a slow start on a tough rig.
Meanwhile, Stokes pitched his first over of the competition, giving away seven runs.

Tyagi has the last word
Tyagi has her man. Bairstow called for a six, but the youngster discarded the goalie-batter, the next ball. The promising pacemaker hit the bat hard at a shorter length and Bairstow was only able to throw one into the square leg, where Samson ran over and threw a stunner.
Tyagi is excited. RR gardeners are pumped. The dangerous Bairstow is out.
Jofra in song
Jofra Archer has cast a fire spell so far. Fast and accurate. Also some nasty bumpers. The knees are pumping. It just makes fast bowling look easy.
Gopal has also started well. Smith would be happy with his bowlers.
Ben Stokes is back. His control with the ball is not always good for the T20s. But his hit at the bowling alley could give RR something extra in these conditions.

Launch and equipment
Yes! Ben Stokes has returned to the RR setup. And that would be a confidence booster. RR has also chosen Parag and Uthappa. SRH has opted for Vijay Shankar before Samad.
Meanwhile, SRH won the toss and opted to hit. The track could get slower. So it could be a good shot to win.
Steve Smith – Hopefully we can rectify some things today. We want to compete today. Looks like a used wicket, it could slow down. We will have to take some early terrain. Look, he trained well and he’s inside today (Stokes). There are also two other changes. Stokes, Riyan Parag and Robin Uthappa are back. We will have to keep moving forward, we have a good team and we have to compete.
David warner – We’ll hit first. It’s a good wicket, we’ll need to make the most of the powerplay overs, hopefully things will go well today. We have a lot of young legs on our team, the older ones take full responsibility. We are taking each game as it comes: Vijay Shankar enters and Samad loses

Good news! For people wondering, Ben Stokes is heating up, will he be part of the Royals playing XI? We will know in no time
Prelude – SRH v RR
Two successive victories. Four losses in a row. The 2020 IPL has been a tale of two halves for Rajasthan Royals so far. The franchise started strong by winning in Sharjah, but has struggled to maintain that momentum.
Except for Jofra Archer and a minor Rahul Tewatia, the rest of the bowlers have had no impact. After scoring substantial scores in Sharjah, hitters have also been below average. In that context, the long-awaited return of Ben Stokes could give the team a boost.
“Stokes hasn’t had much practice, he will come out of quarantine tomorrow so we’ll see if he plays the day after tomorrow,” Smith said after RR fell to a loss to Delhi Capitals.
What about Sunrisers Hyderabad? Even though the Hyderabad franchise has struggled with some injuries, it has been able to get close victories and find itself in fifth place in the points table. Jonny Bairstow and David Warner have once again been the cornerstones of the batting unit, while Rashid Khan and T Natarajan have performed admirably on the ball.
On the side note, Jofra Archer fired Warner in 4 of the 5 innings the pair faced each other in the recent two-way series.
Take a look at our preview as we analyze the two sides before the match.
