Can RR test IM machine-like efficiency?

FIFTY for Ben Stokes!
Do you have something here? The shots have not stopped flowing even with the fall of a couple of windows. He reached half a century with only 28 balls. RR is 99/1 in 10 overs. Can they really carry out the chase here?
RR shook
Steve Smith seemed to be in the mood today when he faced Jasprit Bumrah in the fourth over. But James Pattinson has cleaned it up in the fifth.
Robin Uthappa falls early
This is not the start RR would have wanted. Robin Uthappa is gone, trying to break a 140 km / h short ball from James Pattinson. That results in a simple catch for Kieron Pollard midway.
Incredible blow from Hardik Pandya takes IM to 195/5
A 60 of 21 balls for Hardik Pandya as MI smashes 74 of the last 24 balls to bring the Mumbai Indians to 195/5. After leading Rajpoot to four sixes in 27 races, he has crushed two fours and two sixes from Kartik Tyagi in the final, another 27 races. Incredible, incredible hitting.

Excellent over by Jofra in the midst of the madness of MI – W 1 0 1 01
Hardik-v-Jofra could be fun!
Fasten your seat belts, folks.
Me up to his death antics again!
Like a switch, the Indians of Mumbai have turned on their death madness. In 16 overs, MI was at 121/4. After 18, they are 165/4! All thanks to the incredible punches from Hardik Pandya, who has ripped Ankit Rajpoot to shreds in a 27 run with four sixes in it.
I clean it!
What’s going on? MI has lost three fast wickets, including that of Kieron Pollard, who has been sent off for the first time this season since the tournament opener against CSK. Shreyas Gopal has cleaned it up. RR is putting a big change in its place.
The Women’s T20 Challenge will be played in Sharjah on November 4, 5, 7 and 9.
WHAT.A.CATCH!
What did you just do there, Jofra Archer? Ishan Kishan cut Kartik Tyagi hard and pointed. Jofra in the third man miscalculated first and took a step forward, but then he realized that the ball was traveling fast and could go over his head. So he did an incredible jump, had a hang time and threw the ball with a one-handed blindness. The reactions of your teammates should tell you everything you need to know about this shot.
Taking the leggies …
Against CSK, Steve Smith strangled CSK with eight relentless broken leg overs, seven in a row, from Rahul Tewatia and Shreyas Gopal. The pair conceded 32 in the eight overs between them and dragged the game away from CSK. MI today has shown early intention against them. Both Shreyas and Rahul started well with their first overs, but have been signed in the second. Suryakumar and Kishan have now brought IM to 90/1 in 10 overs.
The story of that Suryakumar return shot
Suryakumar Yadav has been deploying return shots for fun at this IPL. He did it today too, against Ankit Rajpoot. Here is the interesting story behind it.
Who has had a better PowerPlay?
Jofra wants him to believe he’s RR, but MI has managed to transition seamlessly from the initial setback. Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav have enjoyed the brush of the green with inner edges that QdK would have liked, but they have also brought IM to 59/1 in 6 overs.
Jofra Archer’s initial impact
Jofra strikes early!
What a start this, for Rajasthan Royals. The fit Quinton de Kock has been castled, playing with a 145 km / h ripper. What an answer to a six that De Kock drew in front of the plaza. The ball was at an angle and the southpaw half tried to push it. He only managed to gain an internal advantage. Excellent start for the playoff chasers.

Prelude: Rajasthan Royals holding on … alone!
Rajasthan Royals last learned of the push in late September. It has been almost a month since they were able to put together two consecutive victories. And yet, somehow, they’re in the mix for a knockout spot. The permutations for them, of course, involve many other results coming their way, plus they don’t lose another point this season.
The start of that steep hike kicks off with the Mumbai Indians tonight, fresh off a 10 wicket win over Chennai Super Kings, who * check notes * have never lost by that embarrassing margin in tournament history. In short, MI is at its ruthless prime with no complacency in sight.
Rajasthan, on the other hand, has a mess to get away from. They have been stubborn with Ben Stokes at the top and Jos Buttler in the middle, but conventional cricket and IPL wisdom suggest that a change would serve them better. Interestingly, team mentor Shane Warne raised concerns about the same thing on the Sky Sports IPL Show, saying Buttler should definitely open. Are we going to see that today? Only time will tell.
