Poco F2 Pro launch day leaked, and we know the phone will arrive on May 12. Today a new rumor appeared, stating that the Redmi K30 Pro, probably modified, will arrive in four colors: purple, white, blue, gray. According to a source, the 128GB version of the phone will be priced at INR47,000 or the equivalent of € 570.
Is this the Poco F2 Pro?
This price is quite different from another that leaked in late April. Back then it was said to be € 649 for the 6/128 GB option and € 749 for the 8/256 GB variant. Even with taxes and fees, the Poco F2 Pro is unlikely to follow the trend set by the Pocophone F1 of an affordable smartphone with a flagship chipset. For comparison, the two-year-old phone with maximum RAM and storage was priced at INR30,000 ($ 430), that’s a difference of 30%.
Another question also arises: what’s going on with Poco’s naming department? The next device will be the third of this brand and we will see zero continuity: first Poco F1, then Poco X2, and now Poco F2 Pro, even if the last two are renowned phones from the same Redmi K30 family.
The launch is said to take place in five days, so that’s when we expect many questions to be answered.
