LG Chem said Thursday that after the gas leak at its Visakhapatnam polymer plant, the company has begun taking support measures and has begun transporting the styrene monomer inventory to South Korea to eliminate all risk factors. .

On support measures, the company said a special group is supporting grieving victims and families and visiting them in hospitals and their homes.
In addition, food and medical services have been arranged for returning residents. Various support activities will continue, such as the provision of medical and household items and the sanitation of homes, he said.
