Those who denounced letter writers in the “Group of 23” such as Nirmal Khatri and Naseeb Pathan have found interesting spots in the panels announced by Gandhi on Sunday night.
Former UPPCC chief Khatri is on the Staff Development and Training Committee, while Pathan is on the Program Implementation Committee. Both had denounced the letter writers and demanded action against them.
Congress announced the formation of the Manifesto Committee, the Outreach Committee, the Membership Committee, the Program Implementation Committee, the Staff Development and Training Committee, the Panchayat Raj Election Committee, and the Media and Communication Advisory Committee for his unit from Uttar Pradesh.
While Salman khurshid, PL Punia, Aradhana Misra, Supriya Shrinate, Vivek Bansal and Amitabh Dubey are on the Manifesto Committee, those on the Extension Committee include Pramod Tiwari, Pradip Jain, Gajraj Singh, Naseemuddin Siddiqui, Imran Masood and Bal Kumar Patel .
Members of the Membership Committee are Anugrah Narayan Singh, Ajay Kapoor, BL Khabri, Mohd Muqeem, former MP Kamal Kishore “Commando” and former Varanasi MLA Ajay Rai.
The Media and Communication Advisory Committee consists of Rashid Alvi, Lalitesh Pati Tripathi, Akhilesh Pratap Singh, Surendra Rajput, Omkar Singh, and Virendra Madan.
The UPPCC president and the CLP leader will be ex-officio members of all committees, according to an official party statement.
