For the evaluation year 2019-20 from September 30, 2020 to November 30, 2020 “.

This is the fourth extension granted by the government for taxpayers to submit the original and revised ITRs for the 2018-19 fiscal year.
Recently, the tax department has been sending SMS and emails to such taxpayers with a request to file ITR.
In another set of notifications, the IT department stated that it has issued refunds worth more than 1.18 lakh crore rupees to more than 33 lakh taxpayers in the six months to September 29.
This includes personal income tax (PIT) refunds amounting to Rs 32,230 crore issued to taxpayers of 31.75 lakh, and corporate tax refunds amounting to Rs 86,094 crore to more than 1.78 lakh taxpayers during this period.
The government has emphasized on providing tax-related services to taxpayers without any issues during the Covid-19 pandemic, and to that end, it has been clearing pending tax refunds.
