Lalu is released on bail Nov 9, Nitish fired the next day: Tejashwi – bihar choice

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav claimed on Friday that his father and party supreme Lalu Prasad will be released from jail on November 9 after obtaining bail in a fodder scam case, and Bihar’s chief minister , Nitish Kumar, will be saying goodbye the next day.

Votes for the state assembly elections will be counted on November 10.

Prasad is in judicial custody in Jharkhand’s capital, Ranchi, after his conviction in forage scam cases. He was recently released on bail by the Jharkhand High Court in the case involving the Chaibasa treasury, but was unable to get out of jail because his bail statement is being heard in another case of fraudulent withdrawals from the Dumka treasury.

“Lalu ji will be released on November 9. He has a bond and another will be secured on November 9, which is also my birthday. The next day, Nitishji will say goodbye, Tejashwi told an election rally here, exuding confidence in winning the election.

The state is voting in three phases on October 28, November 3 and November 7, with the results to be announced on November 10.

In his speech, he accused the government of Nitish Kumar of failing to root out corruption, build industries, provide employment, and control migration for a living.

“Nitishji, you are tired. You won’t be able to take care of Bihar, ”Tejashwi, 30, told Kumar (69).

He mocked the chief minister for his comment that Bihar lacked industrialization because it is landlocked, and reaffirmed his commitment to sanction 10 lakhs of government positions at his first cabinet meeting if the grand alliance comes to power.

“Those who did not give you jobs, education, health facilities and industries in 15 years, will not do so in the next five years,” he said.

In his speech, delivered primarily in Bhojpuri in a tone that seemed like a loose copy of his father’s famous speech style, Tejashwi also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Bihar to address his first rallies at the polls.

“The prime minister has arrived in Bihar. I was hoping you would tell him when Bihar will get the special status and a special package. It should have revealed how many government jobs it provided, ”he said.

Continuing his tirade against Kumar, Mahagathbandhans’ lead ministerial candidate said the JD (U) president did not leave the CM House for 144 days due to coronavirus fears.

“The coronavirus is still there, but now it is coming out, because it wants votes, it wants a chair,” he said.

Responding to the NDA’s nagging question about where it will draw the fund for its promised 10 lakh jobs, Tejashwi said Bihar has a budget of 2.13 lakh crore rupees and that the Nitish Kumar government manages to spend only 60 per hundred.

“There are still 80 billion rupees left,” he said.

He tried to reach out to voters of all age groups by promising to waive examination fees and the fee for trips to examination centers, make the hired teachers permanent, and increase the old-age pension to Rs 1,000. from 400 rupees.

“This fight is not between Nitish and Tejashwi, nor is it between Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi. It is a struggle between the people and a dictatorial government, ”he said.
