Lalu calling NDA MLA and trying to steal them: Sushil | India News

RANCHI / PATNA: Ex Bihar deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi on Tuesday he accused RJD chief Lalu Prasad of trying to lure NDA lawmakers through phone calls from Ranchi, where he is serving his sentence in the forage scam cases.
Former MP CM said on Twitter that Lalu was making calls from a phone number “to NDA MLAs and promising ministerial positions. When I called on the phone, Lalu answered directly. I said don’t do these dirty tricks from jail, you will not succeed. “The phone number he mentioned in the tweet (TOI does not reveal the number) belongs to Lalu’s caretaker, Irfan Ansari. The number went out when TOI tried to reach him minutes after the tweet, Irfan has been allowed access to the former Bihar CM on the campus of the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims), where the latter is serving his sentence in prison.
Shortly after Modi’s tweet, BJPit is Jharkhand President Deepak Prakash He also tweeted: “Why did the Honorable (Jharkhand) CM Hemant Soren did you keep your eyes closed on this matter?
According to the prison manual, Lalu cannot use the cell phone to communicate and is supposed to meet with visitors only once a week. Officials from Ranchi’s Birsa Munda Central Jail were not available for comment. JD (U) MLC in Bihar Neeraj Kumar demanded that Lalu be transferred to Hotwar prison to avoid any wrongdoing.
RJD officials, however, dismissed SuMo’s allegations. “SuMo suffers from Lalu-phobia. Rather than diverting people’s attention from real issues, including unemployment and Covid management, NDA leaders are busy making baseless accusations, ”said RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari.
