Hyderabad: Ahead of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, TRS Acting Chairman KT Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on BJP leaders on Tuesday by calling them “cousins of Hitler’s Propaganda Minister Goebbels.”
“From state leaders to central ministers, everyone is spreading hatred and lies,” KTR said during a press conference at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. “The BJP today hides its inefficiency behind its lies,” he said.
The acting chairman of TRS also accused the BJP government of being on “a sales spree.” “They are selling Air India, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and they are also privatizing the prestigious Indian railways. “We are afraid that they will sell Charminar, Golconda and privatize GHMC if given the opportunity,” he said, adding: “The BJP is working with a single motto ‘Becho India’. We appeal to the people of ‘Socho India’ ”.
KTR dismissed Prakash Jawadekar’s act of publishing a charge sheet against TRS. “He said that in the published charge sheet, they called our government the TRS-AIMIM government. In reality, we were never in alliance with the MIM. This shows their bad intentions and their hatred for the Muslim community. “
“Why did they publish the charge sheet? Is it to make exceptional progress in just six years, which states like Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand created but which the BJP could not achieve?” KTR asked.
Hyderabad youth, he said, should bring charges against the BJP for canceling the ITIR project in Hyderabad. “Migrant workers must also file charge sheets against the BJP for collecting money for their train travel and food expenses during the shutdown,” he added.
KTR said that even God should file a charge sheet against BJP for using the term ‘Act of God’ and blaming God for a slowdown to cover their failed economic policies and inefficiency. “When we demand our rightful share in taxes, we are branded as separatists. But in reality, the BJP leaders are the real separatists who were with the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir. “
In a strong response, KTR launched 50 questions to the BJP leaders, challenging them to provide answers to the people of Telangana and India.
