Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder Krunal Pandya left the cricket fraternity and his IPL team in shame when the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) stopped him at Mumbai International Airport on suspicion of being in possession of undisclosed gold and other valuables while returning from the United Arab Emirates.
According to a report from the Indian Express, Pandya was detained on the basis of a notice and it was discovered that he was allegedly in possession of two Audemars Piguets with diamonds and two Rolex models that were not declared to Customs. The total value of the watches is estimated to be roughly 1 million rupees, they said.

Krunal recently appeared for the Mumbai Indians in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) held in UAE. The franchise had previously won the tournament in 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019.
The all-rounder has played 71 games for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He was man of the match in the 2017 IPL final and helped the Mumbai Indians defeat the Rising Pune Supergiant to claim their third title.
At this year’s IPL, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) skipper KL Rahul won the Orange Cap, while Delhi Capitals pacemaker Kagiso Rabada won the Purple Cap.
Rabada finished with 30 wickets from 17 matches, while Mumbai Indians pacemaker Jasprit Bumrah finished the tournament with the second most wickets (27) this season.
