Actress Kriti Sanon tested positive for Covid-19. The actor took to Instagram to post a note, giving more details.
She wrote: “I would like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for Covid-19. There is absolutely nothing to worry about as I feel fine and have quarantined myself based on BMC and my doctor’s advice. So I’m going to seize this tide, rest, and get back to work soon. Until then I’m reading all the warm wishes and they seem to be working. Rest assured guys, the pandemic is not over yet! “
Many of his colleagues and friends in the industry wrote to him to wish him a speedy recovery. Ekta Kapoor wrote: “Get well soon”. His Heropanti co-actor Tiger Shroff wrote: “Get well soon.” Many fans wished him a speedy recovery.
Kriti joins a long list of Bollywood celebrities who have tested positive for the virus. Names include Amitabh Bachchan and his family members Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and his granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan, actor and fitness enthusiast Malaika Arora, actor Arjun Kapoor, Jug Jug team members Jeeyo Neetu Kapoor, Maneish Paul and Varun Dhawan, actor Tamannaah Bhatia, actor and politician Sunny Deol, Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, television actor Sara Khan, actor Genelia Deshmukh, Baahubali director SS Rajamouli and his family, to name a few.

Varun, who was among the last actors to test positive for the coronavirus, had confirmed the news with an update on Instagram. He had written: “FRIENDS OF VITAMIN. So when I went back to work in the pandemic era, I contracted covid-19. The production took all the precautions, but there is still nothing for sure in life, especially covid-19. So be very careful, I think I could have been more careful. I see the messages to get well soon and my spirits are very high taking each day at a time. Thank you.”
