11.4 overs: FOUR! FOUR! Consecutive limits for Gurkeerat Singh against Varun Chakravarthy on both sides of the gate. RCB 75/2, you need 10 runs to win 50 balls
9.2 overs: FOUR! Short by Varun Chakravarthy and virat Kohli he cuts it behind the tip to pick up his first limit. RCB 58/2
8.4 overs: FOUR! Beautiful from Gurkeerat Singh. On-the-up and time to perfection. Right in the middle of his bat. Gurkeerat sets off. 50 arrives for RCB with that limit! RCB 52/2
End of eighth plus: A narrow envelope of Varun Chakravarthy. Only 2 of him. KKR seeks to generate pressure on RCB. Two wickets in quick succession and they have shaken things up a bit here. RCB 48/2
6.4 overs: OUT! Second wicket at the end. This time in the form of exhaustion. Terrible confusion between Manpreet Singh and Devdutt Padikkal. There is no communication between the two. Gurkeerat tapped the ball into the square leg region and Padikkal kept running. Easy escape from KKR on the non-strikers end. Padikkal falls in love with 25. Virat Kohli enters 4. RCB 46/2
6.2 overs: OUT! Wicket in the first over for Lockie Ferguson. Nice length delivery from him and Aaron Finch takes him straight to Dinesh Karthik. Finch falls in love with the 16. RCB 46/1
5.3 overs: FOUR! I cut off Varun Chakravarthy and pay it with a cap. Devdutt Padikkal cuts it right and the ball runs over the fence. RCB 43/0
End of fifth envelope: FOUR! Once again, Aaron Finch ends the over by picking up a cap. This time out of Pat Cummins. He tosses it to the thin-legged fence for a four. RCB 37/0
End of 4th.: 13 runs since Prasidh Krishna’s second over including a pair of limits from Devdutt Padikkat and Aaron Finch each. RCB 28/0
2.3 overs: FOUR! Devdutt Padikkal goes to the city center. He clears his front leg and hits Pat Cummins squarely on the ground to collect his first limit. RCB 14/0
End of the second round: A quick single from Aaron Finch’s last ball to end Prasidh Krishna’s first over. Pat Cummins to continue. RCB 8/0
End of 1st.: A decent start from Pat Cummins. 4 since your first change. Prasidh Krishna to share the new ball with Cummins from the other end. RCB 4/0
Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch walk towards the middle to begin the 85-race chase for RCB. An excellent opportunity for RCB to improve its net execution rate, which is currently -ve. Pat Cummins has the new ball in hand for KKR. A slip in place for him. Padikkal on strike. Here we go!
Kolkata Knight Riders – 84/8

KKR’s 84/8 total is the lowest on the one hand IPL that beats the full quota of 20 overs and does not lose all 10 wickets!
Previous: 92/8 (20 overs) by KXIP v CSK at Durban in 2009
End of 20: 10 races and a window in race form in the Chris Morris final. A combined bowling effort led by Mohammed Siraj has restricted KKR to 84/8 – your second lowest total in IPL.
End of 19: Mohammed Siraj completes the penultimate of the entries. Only 6 races on it. It ends with phenomenal figures of 4-2-8-3. KKR 74/7
17.4 about: KKR has now passed 67, its lowest total in the IPL. A quick single by Lockie Ferguson off Chris Morris. KKR 68/7
End of 17 plus: 7 tours from Yuzvendra Chahal’s over including a limit. Chahal completes his quota for the day. End with figures yes 4-0-15-2. KKR 65/7
15.4 overs: OUT! And just after marking a boundary, Eoin Morgan this time hits the ball directly into the hands of the cow corner fielder. The KKR slide continues. Morgan leaves for 30. Sundar picks up his first wicket. Lowest KKR total in IPL is 67. Will they at least get across it? KKR 57/7
50 for Kolkata Knight Riders!
Finally! It took KKR 15 to hit the 50-race mark today. That has been the level of dominance of RCB bowlers. A perfect start so far in this clash. Now they just need to finish well in the last 5. KKR 52/6
End of 14 plus: Another good from Washington Sundar. Only 5 singles of him. RCB has just continued to keep the pressure on KKR. I have not revealed anything. KKR 46/6
Fact: Lowest total in IPL is 49 by RCB vs KKR in 2017
12.3 overs: OUT! Second wicket for Yuzvendra Chahal. Pat Cummins dies, trying to beat one out of the park. Outside Chahal and Cummis throws his bat at him. Mistimes and Devdutt Padikkal complete a simple long-range capture. KKR 40/6
End of 11: A maid now from Washington Sundar. Pat Cummins simply had no response to the six Sundar installments on that change. It also survived a Sundar review. KKR 39/5
Halfway! And RCB has completely dominated KKR in this first half of the first inning. The wickets have fallen like a deck of cards for KKR. Now it’s all up to the boss Eoin Morgan and Pat Cummins to first get them past 100 and then possibly to a competitive total. KKR 36/5after 10 overs.
8.5 overs: Pat Cummins review and survive! Once again, a Yuzvendra Chahal googly and this time the referee dictates the decision in his favor. Cummins goes to the review and the replays and ball tracking confirm that this time the ball was missing the trunnions. KKR 32/5
8.4 overs: OUT! Yuzvendra Chahal now attacks in her first over. Chahal’s googly and Dinesh Karthik completely loses it. It hits him on the pads. The original decision did not come to light and Virat Kohli opts for the just-in-time review. A perfect call to the RCB pattern as multiple reps and ball tracking confirm that the ball is hitting the stumps. Karthik has to come back and another success for RCB. His bowlers are on a roll. Half of the KKR’s batting order is back in the cabin. KKR 32/5
End of eighth plus: SIX to finish the ending of Navdeep Saini. A short distance from him and Eoin Morgan hits him in the deep region of the square leg for six major runs. The ball passes over the fielder at the fence. Yuzvendra Chahal enters the attack for the first time. KKR 30/4
6.3 overs: FOUR! A limit, finally for KKR. A much needed one! Isuru Udana and Eoin Morgan’s overdrive propels him through the decks to collect four runs.
End of Powerplay!
A sensational start from Royal Challengers Bangalore. Four terrains in the power play and KKR are reeling right now. They are in all kinds of trouble. Mohammed Siraj, the boss wrecker with three wickets so far in his 3 overs. Complete your third round with a well-managed goalkeeper. Siraj’s figures so far – 3-2-2-3. Eoin Morgan and Dinesh Karthik are currently fighting RCB quicks. KKR 17/4
End of fifth envelope: Another excellent ending, this time from Chris Morris. Just one of him who is also a leg. The Pacers have put RCB on top, early in this contest. A dream start for Virat Kohli and Co. KKR 15/4

3.3 overs: OUT! Third wicket for Mohammed Siraj. It is on fire! This time he knocks out Tom Banton by 10. Outside edge and AB de Villiers is not wrong behind the stumps. The decision to hit first has been largely counterproductive for Kolkata. They are reeling right now. KKR 14/4
2.2 overs: OUT! Another for RCB! This time, Navdeep Saini gets rid of Shubman Gill. A horrendous start for KKR. Gill tries to go over the field on the side, but he doesn’t. Chris Morris midway completes a single catch. Gill comes out 1 and KKR are now 3 down. KKR 3/3
End of the second round: A sensational start from Mohammed Siraj. A double wicket maiden of him first. Navdeep Saini now replaces Chris Morris. KKR 3/2
1.4 overs: OUT! He shot it down! Two out of two for Mohammed Siraj. And what a perfect delivery Siraj’s was. He moved to the left and hit Nitish Rana’s stump. The stump flies off. A perfect sight for a fast bowler. Frog comes out for a first ball duck. KKR 3/2
1.3 overs: OUT! Mohammed Siraj with the initial advance. Wicket for him on his first change. Soft dismissal for Rahul Tripathi as he directs the ball straight into AB de Villiers’ hands behind the stumps. Rahul comes out for 1. KKR 3/1
End of 1st.: A good start for Chris Morris. Only 3 since your first change. Both Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi are out of place. Mohammed Siraj to share the new ball with Morris from the other end. KKR 3/0
Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi are in the middle to start the Kolkata Knight Riders innings. Chris Morris has the new ball in hand for Royal Challengers Bangalore. A slip in place for Morris. Gill on strike. Here we go!
Playing XI for both teams!
A look at Playing XI for # KKRvRCB # Dream11IPL https://t.co/bhrXy6IX62
– IndianPremierLeague (@IPL) 1603287462000
Royal Challengers Bangalore: Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli (c), AB de Villiers (w), Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Washington Sundar, Chris Morris, Mohammed Siraj, Isuru Udana, Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal
Kolkata Knight Riders: Shubman Gill, Tom Banton, Nitish Rana, Eoin Morgan (c), Dinesh Karthik (w), Rahul Tripathi, Pat Cummins, Lockie Ferguson, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Varun Chakravarthy
Captains in the draw
Eoin Morgan: “We’re going to hit first. The wicket looks good. There’s been continuous improvement. A couple of changes. Banton and Prasidh come in instead of Mavi and Russell.”
virat Kohli: “We would have hit first. It looks like a good pitch, it should be a good chase as long as we pitch well. We pitch them cheaply in Sharjah. It’s about how we exceed our plans. Siraj comes back. Shahbaz misses.”
Team news: A couple of changes for KKR. Tom Banton and Prasidh Krishna enter by Andre russell and Shivam Mavi respectively. Mohammad Siraj replaces Shahbaz Ahmed at RCB XI
Toss news: Kolkata Knight Riders captain Eoin Morgan wins the draw and opts to bat against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Abu Dhabi.
Field and terrain report: “It is a new course today in Abu Dhabi, as in Dubai – one of the limits of the square is short at 62 m and 71 m, while the other side has limits of 74 m and 80 m respectively. Similarly, the limits straights vary. The straight boundary is huge at 79 m, while the other straight boundary is the shortest of all, at 59 m. There should be an appreciable bounce on this surface, especially with the new ball. There is a uniform cover of green grass, the surface is very difficult too. There is not much in terms of spin in this wicket. They will have to use their cunning, angles and mix things up to be successful here, “said JP Duminy and Daren Ganga.
Players from both teams are in the middle, warming up before the crucial match. We are only 15 minutes from launch.
