In his latest revelation about Pyongang shrouded in mystery, US President Donald Trump told Bob Woodwoard, who is writing a book on Trump, that Kim Jong Un had ordered the murder of his uncle, Jang Song Thaek, and that Jang’s decapitated body was shown to senior North Korean officials. The head was resting on the chest, Trump is believed to have told the writer.
Jang Song Thaek, accused of treason, was executed in 2013.

one. Jang Song Thaek became part of the first North Korean family by marriage. He married one of the daughters of the founder of North Korea, Kim Il Sung, Kim Kyong Hui. They both attended Kim Il Sung University. The duo married in 1972. They had a daughter who reportedly committed suicide in 2006.
