KBC 12: Amitabh Bachchan admonishes contestant who said he will use the prize money to get plastic surgery on his wife’s face – tv

Actor Amitabh Bachchan is often a witness to the stories of struggle and triumph of the human spirit of many of the contestants in the Kaun Banega Crorepati hot seat. However, every once in a while, he also runs into a surprise of another kind on the game show. Something similar happened when he came face to face with a contestant from Madhya Pradesh, Koshlendra Singh Tomar.

Koshlendra, who is the secretary of the gram panchayat in his village, earned a small amount before leaving the program and leaving. However, a statement he made, which he later called a joke, became the highlight of the episode. Over the course of the game, Amitabh asked him what he would do with the winning amount. Koshlendra said that he would first have plastic surgery on his wife’s face. Amitabh, surprised, asked him: “Plastic surgery, but why?” To that, Koshlendra reportedly said: “15 saal se ek he chehra dekh ke bore hogaya hoon (I’m tired of seeing the same face for the past 15 years).” Seeing Amitabh’s reaction, Koshlendra said that he was just kidding. And as Amitabh laughed and asked his wife not to listen to her husband, he gently admonished Koshlendra and told her not to say such things even as a joke.

As far as gambling is concerned, Koshlendra couldn’t win big – he returned home with a small amount of Rs 40,000. As part of the promotion, prior to the broadcast of the episode, the Sony TV promotion said that the people of Gujerkhedi district affectionately call Koshlendra ‘superhero sachiv’. In his view, if the villages have all the financial support and resources, they could dwarf urban life and embody peace, health and prosperity. Therefore, he has established a skills development center in his village and wants to spread the message of ‘speaking locally’ through the hot seat.

The question that puzzled him was the eighth: Which of the following authors wrote the book, The Indian War of Independence, 1857? The choices were: Winston Churchill, Jawaharlal Nehru, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, or Rabindranath Tagore, and the correct answer was Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Sadly, by then, it had exhausted all of their lives.
