Kavya Chopra became the first woman to head the Main Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), the results of which were released Wednesday night. Her mother, Shikha Chopra, told indianexpress.com that Kavya was good at math and loved computers. “If you pass JEE Advanced, you could opt for IIT-Bombay computer engineering,” said Chopra.

An active participant in the math and science Olympics, she had qualified in the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMP) in classes 9 and 11. She has also passed IOQP, IOQC IOQM, some of the few prominent Olympics.
