Wednesday’s episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 saw his first ‘crorepati’ of the season. Delhi-based communications professional Nazia Nasim crossed the milestone and also tried the Rs 7 crore question.
Nazia started her game on Tuesday’s episode and picked it up the next day. A promotional video for the episode shows host Amitabh Bachchan commenting that he rarely gets to ask contestants the Rs 1 crore question.

The choices were: Deepika Chikhlia, Roopa Ganguly, Neena Gupta, Kirron Kher. And the correct answer is Roopa Ganguly.
But before that, Nazia was asked another question, which she decided to turn around. “Mariana Trench is the deepest point in the ocean. The first woman to arrive is also a former astronaut. Who is she?”
The correct answer is Kathy Sullivan. She accomplished the feat in June of this year, having cemented her place in the record books by becoming the first American woman to complete a spacewalk in 1984. “I was always quite an adventurous and curious girl with broader and more varied interests. than the stereotype of a girl, ”Sullivan told the BBC in an interview.
Before the episode, Sony TV social media pages shared messages from crorepats from the past, wishing Nazia the best of luck and congratulating her on her achievement.
In a previous promo, Amitabh applauded Nazia’s acquaintance. “What an amazing game you’ve played,” Amitabh said in the video, as the tense moments of the episode unfolded, including the host yelling, “Ek crore!” in celebration. “Yeh bade mushkil prashn the, jahan aapki nazar gayi, woh ekdum sahi thi (These were tough questions, but your instincts got it right)” Amitabh said to Nazia.
