Writer and filmmaker Tahira Kashyap, wife of actor Ayushmann Khurrana, got creative with her mehendi design for Karva Chauth this year. However, the design turned out to be very different from what he had imagined.
Tahira shared a photo of her palm with henna and wrote that she tried to draw snowflakes, but the design reminded people of the coronavirus. “Karva chauth in crown times! He had honestly set out to make snowflakes (time constraints lead to this kind of personal art) until someone pointed out why you would make coronavirus. Now, blame it on my skills or my mind, constantly clouded by this stupid virus. wishing you all a very happy free crown #karvachauth #gocoronago, “he wrote in his Instagram post.
Actress Shilpa Shetty shared in the comment section that her own mehendi design was much less creative. “Ha ha ha, I couldn’t get past 2 spots in the center of my palms!” He wrote, along with laughing emojis.
Meanwhile, fans also wrote to Tahira in the comment section. “You look pretty and cute. The designs are cute too … cuteness overloaded in a frame, ”wrote one. “Science vs art! I love it, ”commented another. “If your snowflakes keep your hands safe and if your crown keeps washing. Stay blessed, ”wrote a third.
Earlier this month, Ayushmann and Tahira celebrated their wedding anniversary and joked that they feel like “125 years of union.” The two are childhood sweethearts and were married on November 1, 2008. They have two children: Virajveer and Varushka.

Sharing a photo of Tahira riding on his back, Ayushmann wrote on Instagram: “Celebrating 125 years of togetherness. Maybe more. Because I know that I have known you for centuries and time immemorial. This bond cannot be limited to this life. You are my partner, lover, personal comedian, life coach and above all my best friend. I want to grow old with you. I know it will be a lot of fun. Sigh. Happy anniversary @tahirakashyap Umm .. “
Tahira had shared the same image and had written: “And I’m not lying. That’s the only way it lifts me up! Jute bag ‘aaloo ki bori’! But this is the love I love, maybe getting into your brain @ayushmannk is easier this way than being cradled and carried on your lap (a failed suhaag raat moment for us) or more ingenuity for many more games like this . umm. #happy Anniversary.”
