Karnataka reports of 100 new Covid-19 positive cases; 46 are Maharashtra returnees

There has been an increase in coronavirus the cases in Karnataka. On Tuesday, the state reported 100 fresh cases of coronavirus, taking the account to 2,258. Until now, 722 people have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 44 have succumbed to the virus, according to the department of health of the state.

Of the 100 cases, 46 people who had returned from Maharashtra have tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. Also, 21 people are returnees from Tamil Nadu and 13 have returned from Jharkhand.

Karnataka not recorded COVID-19 of death today.

Of the 100 cases, 20 people have positive result in the test of Chitradurga, 14, Yadagiri, 13, Belagavi, 11 Hassan and 10 of Bidar.
