Karnataka Minister conducts video conference with Kerala Health Minister to learn how the state contained the pandemic

Karnataka Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar held a video conference with Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja on Monday understood how they could contain the Covid-19 pandemic effectively.

Explaining the steps taken for better management of Covid-19, Shailaja said that shortly after the students returned from WuhanKerala took precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.

She said that Kerala is equipped with health facilities at the taluk level and therefore it became easier to quarantine the infected and treat them at various levels. This reduced the death rate in Kerala, he added.
