Bangalore: Days after graffiti supporting the Lashkar-e-Taiba terror group was seen in Mangaluru, another provocative graffiti, calling for the beheading of those who insult Prophet Muhammad, appeared in the Karnataka district on Sunday.

The graffiti read ‘Gustak e Rasool ki ek hi saza, sar tan say juda’ (just a punishment for offending the Prophet: cutting off the head from the body) in Urdu language and English script.

The graffiti was found scrawled on the wall of a former police post on the court’s premises. The graffiti was apparently written on Saturday, however it was seen earlier today.

On Friday, a graffiti saying “do not force us to invite Lashkar-e-Taiba, the Taliban to deal with Sanghis and Manvedis”, was found in a public place in Mangaluru. The graffiti was found on the wall of an apartment in the city’s Circuit House in support of terrorist organizations. The graffiti also read ‘Lashkar Zindabad’.

The police launched an investigation as soon as the matter came to light and a case was registered against unidentified persons for allegedly promoting enmity between different communities and causing damage to property. “We have covered it now. All CCTV cameras in the locality are being searched. We are looking for all possible leads,” police had said.

In particular, the Sanghis are known as people associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
