Hours before the party, Kareena had shared an Instagram post in which she reflected on her life and her plans for the future. She wrote: “As I enter my 40s … I want to sit back, reflect, love, laugh, forgive, forget, and most importantly pray and thank the strongest force for giving me the strength and appreciation for my experiences and decisions. for making me the woman I am … Some are right, some are wrong, some are great, some not so much … but still, hey, BIG 40 make it BIG. “
