Kareena Kapoor Khan on Nepotism: Everyone gets what they deserve


There is no denying the fact that Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the biggest and most popular stars in Bollywood. The powerful performer enjoys a large following due to her outspoken nature, impressive work, and surprising screen presence. During a recent interview with journalist Anupama Chopra, ‘Bebo’ opened up about nepotism in Bollywood and said that people finally get what they deserve.

He added that his son Taimur does not necessarily have to emerge as one of the top stars in the film industry even though he is part of the Kapoor-Pataudi family.

“I would also wish my son to be self-sufficient and self-sufficient. I’m like you do what you want to do in life. You want to be a chef somewhere, pilot, whatever you want to do.” (sic) added Kareena.

The topic of nepotism became the talk of the town nearly three years ago when Kangana Ranaut accused film director Karan Johar of favoring child stars and ignoring self-made actors. Several popular names from the film industry weighed in on the matter, adding a new dimension to the discussion.

The debate over nepotism resurfaced when actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14. A section of Twitterserve claimed that Bollywood greats had tried to sabotage the MS Dhoni Star’s career as she had no industry connections. Some of them trolled people like Sonam Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, ruffling some feathers. The ‘negativity’ forced the Noisy rathore actress to leave Twitter.
