Kareena Kapoor Khan has revealed that she and her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, are going to celebrate the festival of lights outside of the city this year.

This year, most of the Bollywood celebrities have planned to celebrate Diwali with their loved and close ones. Some of them have already canceled their Diwali holiday, while some of them have resumed work after the lockdown. Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan resumed her work in Mumbai and Saif Ali Khan has flown to Dharamshala to film his next film Bhoot Police. Now, in an interview with ETimes, Kareena has revealed that they are going to celebrate the festival of lights far from the city.
They are going to celebrate the festival in the beautiful places of Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. Soon, the actress and her son Taimur will join Saif for the celebration. Speaking of their Diwali plans, Kareena said that they are actually eager to leave. “It will be great to travel to the mountains and spend time outdoors and in the sun,” added Bebo. He also said that they haven’t been home for a long time for a year; so going to Dharamshala and being there for a few days will be great.
The diva further explained that they plan to keep the celebration very quiet and spend as much time outdoors as possible. “Obviously it is not going to be a great Diwali, and I am very happy with that, I prefer it to be small this year,” concluded Kareena.
