Karan Johar has returned from Goa with her family after a two week vacation. The filmmaker was seen at the Kalina airport with his mother Hiroo Johar and his children Yash and Roohi.
The entire Johar family was seen wearing long-sleeved clothing and masks for safety. While Karan was seen wearing a black hoodie, his mother was seen arriving in a wheelchair in her signature kaftans. His daughter Roohi was dressed from head to toe in pink and was even seen giving his aunt a kiss. His twin brother, Yash, was also seen in black when he dated their babysitter.
Karan, who is known for throwing star-studded parties, is currently in the news about alleged drug use in Bollywood. However, the filmmaker has distanced himself from such people or incidents and has issued a statement against a “malicious campaign” being carried out against him. He said in his statement on Instagram: “I do not use narcotics, I do not promote or encourage use.”
Karan’s name made headlines when Kshitij Ravi Prasad, who was previously said to be related to his film company Dharma Productions, was arrested in a drug case. Prasad had joined Dharmatic Entertainment (sister company of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions) in November 2019 as one of the executive producers under contract for a project, which ultimately did not materialize, Karan said in a statement on Friday.
Prasad was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday after questioning. He was brought before a trial court in Mumbai via videoconference that left him in the custody of the investigating agency until October 3 for further investigation.
The investigating agency further said that the investigation into the case revealed that the defendant is part of a drug procurement conspiracy with other defendants. He is connected to other defendants linked to the murder case of Sushant Singh Rajput, he said.

On Friday, the NCB also questioned Anubhav Chopra, who previously worked with Dharma Productions, regarding the alleged link between drugs in the Hindi film industry. However, according to Dharma Productions owner Karan, he does not know any of them personally. “He was briefly associated with us for just two months as a second assistant director of a film, between November 2011 and January 2012 and as an assistant director of the short film in January 2013. Since then, he has never been associated with Dharma Productions for any other project, ”said Karan.
