Kanta Prasad rose to fame after YouTuber Gaurav Wassan posted a video of Kanta and his wife asking people to come to eat in their dhaba that they had suffered during the COVID-19 lockdown.
The couple have now realized their dream and opened a new restaurant in the Malviya Nagar area of South Delhi.

A few days ago, Prasad reported that he had been receiving death threats.. Prasad said a few days ago that three boys came to his store and threatened him. The 80-year-old has also alleged that criminals have threatened to burn his Dhaba..
He said he had filed a complaint with the police.

A month ago, Delhi police registered a cheating case against YouTuber Gaurav Wasan based on a complaint from Prasad. According to Delhi Police, on October 31, a complaint was received from Prasad (owner of Baba ka Dhaba) at Malviya Nagar Police Station about cheating and fraud against Wasan.
A preliminary investigation was conducted after which a recognizable crime was recorded and an investigation was launched
