Actor Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday criticized Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh for allegedly liking a derogatory tweet against her, accusing him of “encouraging public ridicule and harassment” of those who fought for Sushant Singh Rajput.
By sharing a screenshot of a tweet, Kangana Ranaut revealed how a damnable motif of her name along with the words ‘Walk of Shame’ had been painted on a sidewalk. In response to the original tweet, one user suggested putting a picture of her in the motif, rather than just her name. Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh reportedly liked this user’s comments based on screenshots shared by Kangana.
Attacking the Mumbai police, Kangana asked why they intimidated her in this way. The actor also asked if she would ever be safe in Mumbai and asked who would be responsible for her safety.
When @CPMumbaiPolicia You are openly bullying me like this, encouraging intimidation and crime against me, will I be safe in Mumbai? Who is responsible for my safety? @PMOIndia

Mumbai police, on the other hand, have officially denied the allegations, claiming that the commissioner had never liked a tweet like that. They have also taken actions to verify the authenticity of the screenshots. “This tweet has never been liked by the Mumbai police commissioner; the cyber police station has been asked to examine the screenshot,” they said in response to Kanagan’s tweets.

Kangana requests police protection
This is not the first time the actress has spoken out about the Mumbai police in regards to their safety. Earlier this week, Kangana Ranaut, expressed mistrust of the state police saying that she was more afraid of the Mumbai Police than of the movie mafia thugs, and requested police protection from the Himachal Pradesh government or the Center. This comes days after the actress expressed her willingness to expose the nexus between the drug mafia and Bollywood as long as she is afforded protection.
In an interview with Republic Media Network editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami last week, Kangana Ranaut had called the film industry a ‘gutter’ referring to the allegedly prevalent practice of drug use at parties. He also claimed that even politicians and police were “friends” with Bollywood stars when it came to drug use.
