Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut informed Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Sunday of “unfair treatment” he received following his criticism of the Mumbai police in connection with the force’s investigation into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
A war of words broke out between the actor and the ruler Shiv Sena after Ranaut compared Mumbai to Pakistani-occupied Kashmir and said he doesn’t feel safe in the city.
Ranaut, who was in his hometown of Manali in Himachal Pradesh for the past few months, arrived in Mumbai on September 9, the day the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) razed the “illegally” built parts of his office.
