This meeting comes days after BMC conducted a demolition campaign at its Bandra office, alleging “illegal alterations” made without its approval. Although the actress affirmed that she has all the necessary documents and approvals, the civic body, in its statement, cited a series of “alterations” in its notice to the star.
Reports that circulated claimed that the governor of Maharashtra “conveyed his displeasure” at the demolition of the actress’ office space, yet he has denied expressing such disapproval.
Reports on PTI claimed that Koshyari said: “I have not expressed resentment anywhere.”
The action came after a war of words between the actress and members of the Shiv Sena party. The actress also created quite a stir online when she compared Mumbai to Pakistani-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Regarding the damage caused to the interior of his office, the Bombay High Court has stopped any further demolition. The actress, on the other hand, has said that she does not have money to reform the place and will leave it as it is to serve as a reminder to everyone.
In a tweet, Kangana said: “I will work from those ruins to keep that devastated office as a symbol of the will of a woman who dared to ascend in this world.”
