According to a recent report, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has filed another affidavit in the Bombay High Court opposing the statement of Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut challenging the demolition of his office and seeking Rs. 2 million rupees. However, the actress through her Instagram status has shared a special message for the Maharashtra Government and BMC.

Kangana shared a verdict of the Supreme Court case on her Instagram story where the rules on demolition are mentioned. The message explains how, according to the Mumbai Municipal Corporations Act of 1888, demolition can only be carried out with 15 days’ notice. In addition, it establishes that if the Municipal Corporation violates the process by demolishing a building, the structure is totally illegal. The message concludes by mentioning that compensation can be claimed by agents who have violated the law.

Kangana wrote: “A special message for the Maharashtra government and their mascot BMC.” The actress has shared the same after BMC told Bombay High Court to dismiss her guilty plea by demanding Rs. 2 crore of them for demolition must be laid off with costs. Addressing the message, the actress called BMC as the ‘mascot’ of the Maharashtra government.

During Kangana’s 4-day stay in Mumbai, he met the Governor of Maharashtra before leaving for Manali.
