Kangana Ranaut revived his accusations in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput when a report by the AIIMS medical board ruled out the murder on Saturday, saying it was death by suicide. Kangana, who had claimed that Sushant was ostracized and harassed by the Bollywood “mafia”, made those accusations again. “Young and extraordinary people don’t wake up one good morning and commit suicide. Sushant said he was being bullied and outcast, he feared for his life, said the movie mafia banned and harassed him, he was mentally affected by being falsely accused of rape #AIIMS, ”he tweeted.
In another tweet, Kangana recalled her old charges again. “With the latest developments, we need answers to some questions. 1) SSR repeatedly spoke about the big producers banning it. Who are these people who conspired against him? 2) Why does the media spread false news about him as a rapist? 3) Why was Mahesh Bhatt doing his psychoanalysis?
On Saturday, the AIIMS medical board called Sushant’s death “a case of hanging and death by suicide.” In their conclusive medico-legal opinion to the CBI, the six-member team of forensic doctors has dismissed allegations of “poisoning and strangulation” that were made by many, including Sushant’s father’s attorney, Vikas Singh.
“It is a case of hanging and death by suicide. We have submitted our conclusive report to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), ”said Dr. Sudhir Gupta, who is also chairman of the medical examiner board. He also said that there was no injury to the actor’s body other than from hanging.
Sushant, 34, was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. Mumbai police, who were initially investigating the case, had labeled it a death by suicide. The CBI had taken over the investigation after Sushant’s father filed an FIR in Patna against Rajput’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, and her family. After a confrontation between the two police departments over jurisdiction, the Supreme Court had asked CBI to take over the investigation.
Earlier this week, the central investigative agency had said that it had reached no conclusions about the Rajput death case and that all aspects were under investigation. Kangana has been demanding justice in Sushant’s case, claiming that he was ostracized by a privileged Bollywood club like her. It had also rekindled the debate over nepotism in industry.
