Kangana Ranaut has called the ongoing farmer protests ‘politically motivated’, demanding to know why he has to show his patriotism on a regular basis, and others like Priyanka Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh are never questioned about his intentions.
In a video shared on Instagram on Saturday, he said: “I had given everyone my word that I will speak out about the farmers’ protests once the true motivations are revealed, as are the Shaheen Bagh protests. After the type of mental and emotional lynching and threats of rape that I have faced online these 10-12 days, I have the right to ask this country some questions. As the Prime Minister has made everything clear, there is no doubt, it has been proven that this whole movement was politically motivated and even terrorists had begun to participate in it.
She continued: “I have lived in Punjab … I know that 99.9% of the people of Punjab do not like Khalistan. They don’t want a piece of this country, they belong to India. From Arunachal Pradesh to Maharashtra to Delhi, everything is yours. They don’t want a small portion, they are all patriots. I have no complaints with the terrorists who want to break this country, I understand their feelings. But how do these innocent people allow these terrorists to play with them? As Shaheen Bagh dadi could not read but was protesting to save his citizenship, Punjab dadi has been abusing me and trying to save their land from the government, what is happening in this country? Friends, how do we allow ourselves to be so vulnerable to these terrorists and foreign powers? I have a complaint against you. I have to talk about my intentions every day, a patriot has to clarify so many things. But people like Diljit Dosanjh and Priyanka Chopra are not asked about their intentions. What is your policy? When I speak in favor of this country, they accuse me of doing politics. Also ask them what their policy is. Jai Hind “.
