Kangana Ranaut has blocked former Bigg Boss contestant Himanshi Khurana on Twitter. This came after the Punjabi singer and actress criticized Kangana for her views on the famers’ protests. Kangana’s tweets about the farmers’ protest were not well received by many Punjabi artists, including Himanshi, Ammy Virk and Sagun Mehta.
WHAT DID HIMANSHI WRITE?
Himanshi took her Instagram Stories and shared a screenshot of a message, which mentions that Kangana Ranaut has blocked on Twitter. She captioned it as, “Wohhh. Krta block (sic)”.
Himanshi lashed out at Kangana after he misidentified an old woman at the farmers’ protest as Bilkis Bano, popularly known as Shaheen Bagh dadi. She shared a meme on Kangana and wrote: “Agar is in buzurg aurat ne paise lie hai bheed me shamil hone k ………. app ne kitne paise lie Sarkar ko defender krne ke ….. @ KanganaTeam (sic) “.

WHAT DID KANGANA WRITE ABOUT THE FARMERS PROTEST?
Sharing an article claiming that Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu is posing as a farmer, Kangana Ranaut wrote that everyone is trying to take advantage of the farmers’ protest to their advantage. “Hopefully the government does not allow anti-national elements to take advantage and create other Shaheen Baag riots for bloodthirsty vultures and tukde (sic) gangs.”
Himanshi Khurana has been part of the farmers’ protest from the beginning. In September, Himanshi tested positive for Covid-19 after participating in the farmers’ protest. The singer and actress continues to share posts on social media in support of farmers.
LEGAL NOTICE TO KANGANA
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut also received legal advice from a Punjab-based lawyer for alleged misidentification of an elderly woman at the farmers’ protest as Bilkis Bano. The notice demands an apology for his tweets, which have now been deleted.
